Joyful Living welcomes you to explore Mindfulness Based Stress Resilience.


The training is offered by Geeta Cowlagi, the first CFM Certified MBSR teacher in Central Texas.  The teachings are based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, one of Geeta’s teachers, at the Center for Mindfulness (CFM) at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979.  

Mindful living is an invitation to live fully and be present to everything that life offers us. It is a practice of cultivating understanding, wisdom and compassion with insight and tenderness.  Overtime we learn to soften the harsh judgment and come to a relationship of care and joy with ourself and those around us.  All are welcome to this practice.
